The project involved the renovation of the existing building, including a partial change of use for the ground floor, converting it from storage to residential. Key interventions included improving energy efficiency, reorganizing the internal layout, reinforcing the roof structure, and redesigning the outdoor areas.

Energy efficiency improvements were made by insulating the building with high-performance materials. The façade was updated to meet local regulations, and the windows were replaced to enhance energy performance while preserving the original openings. Internally, the layout was adjusted to suit the new residential function, with larger windows to bring in more natural light. New floors were added, along with underfloor heating, and the roof was upgraded for better insulation.

Seismic safety was addressed by completely overhauling the roof structure and reinforcing it with a new support system.

Internally, the spaces were reorganized by removing old partitions and adding new ones to create a modern, functional layout. The common staircase was retained. The ground floor now includes a living room, master bedroom, and service areas, while the first floor has additional bedrooms and a shared bathroom. The external areas were transformed into a garden with permeable surfaces to improve both appearance and functionality.
